Who we are
RA Controls LLC, doing business as Rodeo Automation, designs and builds electronic control systems for rodeo and livestock handling equipment — remote-operated chute controls, motor and actuator drivers, sensors and timing electronics. We are based in Santa Fe, Texas. Our customers are the owners and operators of that equipment.
What we send, and why
Customers with a Rodeo Automation account may choose to receive text messages from us for three separate purposes.
1. Sign-in verification codes
A one-time code sent when you ask to sign in or verify your number. Sent only in response to something you just did. Example: “Your Rodeo Automation verification code is 123456.”
2. Equipment status alerts
Automated alerts about equipment you own — for example a control system that has stopped responding, or a fault that needs attention. Example: “Rodeo Automation alert: your chute controller has not reported in for 10 minutes.”
3. Product news
Occasional news about our products, updates and offers. This is a separate opt-in from service alerts, is never a condition of any purchase, and is off unless you switch it on.
How you opt in
You give us a mobile number yourself, on your account page after signing in at rodeoautomation.com. Consent is captured by tick boxes on that page, which are unchecked by default and shown beside this same disclosure. Service alerts and product news are separate boxes, so agreeing to one does not agree to the other.
We do not buy, rent or otherwise obtain numbers from anyone else, and a number is used only for the messages the account holder has asked for.
How you stop them
Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at our contact form or info@rodeoautomation.com. You can also turn any category off from your account page at any time.
Opting out of service alerts or product news does not stop sign-in verification codes, because those are only ever sent when you have just asked to sign in.
Frequency and cost
Message frequency varies with account activity and equipment conditions. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your information
We do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information is shared only with the service providers that deliver the messages on our behalf, and with no one else. How we handle personal information generally is set out in our Privacy Policy, alongside our Terms and Conditions.
