Your information when You use the Service and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law

Personal Data
While using Our Service, We may ask You to provide Us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify You. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

- Phone number
- Address, State, Province, ZIP/Postal code, City
- Usage Data
Usage Data
Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service.
Usage Data may include information such as Your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP
address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that You visit, the time and date
of Your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.
When You access the Service by or through a mobile device, We may collect certain information
automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device You use, Your mobile device
unique ID, the IP address of Your mobile device, Your mobile operating system, the type of mobile
Internet browser You use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.
Mobile App Permissions
Our mobile application may request the following permissions:
- Network Access: To communicate with your smart home devices
- Local Storage: To cache device information and preferences locally
- Notifications: To alert you of device status changes and important updates
Tracking Technologies and Cookies
We use Cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on Our Service and store certain information. Tracking technologies used are beacons, tags, and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze Our Service.
Third-Party Service Providers
We use industry-standard cloud infrastructure provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS) to securely store and process your information.
Amazon Alexa Integration
When you link your Rodeo Automation account with Amazon Alexa to control your smart home devices through voice commands:
- We share your account authentication credentials with Amazon using secure OAuth 2.0 protocol
- Amazon may collect and process voice commands you give to Alexa regarding your devices
- We receive device control requests from Amazon Alexa Smart Home skill
- We store OAuth tokens to maintain the connection between your accounts
- You can disconnect your Alexa account at any time through your account settings or the Alexa app

Use of Your Personal Data
The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain our Service, including to monitor the usage of our Service and manage your smart home devices.
- To manage Your Account, to manage Your registration as a user of the Service.
- For the performance of a contract, the development, compliance and undertaking of the purchase contract for the products, items or services You have purchased.
- To contact You by email, telephone calls, SMS, or other equivalent forms of electronic communication.
- To provide You with news, special offers and general information about other goods, services and events which we offer.
- To manage Your requests, to attend and manage Your requests to Us.
- For business transfers, We may use Your information to evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Our assets.
How We Share Your Information
We share Your personal information only in the following specific situations:
- Amazon (Alexa integration only): When you link your account with Alexa, we share authentication credentials and device control information necessary to provide voice control functionality.
- AWS (Infrastructure and hosting): Your data is processed and stored on AWS servers as described in the Third-Party Service Providers section above.
- Email service provider: We use AWS SES to send service-related communications and notifications.
We DO NOT:
- Sell your personal information to third parties
- Share your data for advertising or marketing purposes
- Use your data for purposes other than providing and improving the Service
- Share your device control data with anyone except as necessary to provide the Service (e.g., Alexa integration)
Retention of Your Personal Data
The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out
in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply
with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with
applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
The Company will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally
retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or
to improve the functionality of Our Service, or We are legally obligated to retain this data for
longer time periods.
Delete Your Personal Data
You have the right to delete or request that We assist in deleting the Personal Data that We have collected about You.
How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your account by:
- Signing into your account here and following the account deletion instructions
- Or by emailing us here with your deletion request
What Happens When You Delete Your Account
Upon account deletion:
- Your account will be permanently removed within 30 days
- Your personal information will be deleted from our systems
- Your linked smart home devices will be disconnected
- Your Alexa integration (if connected) will be unlinked
- Your uploaded files and profile images will be deleted from our servers
- Some data may be retained for legal compliance purposes, including security logs, transaction records, and data required by law (retained for no longer than 7 years)
Please note that We may need to retain certain information when we have a legal obligation or lawful basis to do so.
Security of Your Personal Data
The security of Your Personal Data is important to Us. We use industry-standard security measures including encryption, secure authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0), and AWS's enterprise-grade security infrastructure to protect Your data. However, remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect Your Personal Data, We cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Data Breach Notification
In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information:
- We will notify you within 72 hours of discovering the breach
- We will inform you of what data was compromised
- We will provide details about the nature of the breach and potential risks
- We will outline the steps we are taking to address the breach
- We will provide recommendations for steps you can take to protect yourself
- We will work with relevant authorities as required by law
California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have specific rights regarding your personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

How to Exercise Your Rights

- Include your full name, email address, and username
- Specify which right(s) you wish to exercise
We will respond to your request within 45 days. We may require verification of your identity before processing your request.
Service Availability
Our Service is currently available only in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. By using our Service, you confirm that you are located in one of these countries. We do not knowingly collect information from users outside these regions.
Children's Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally
identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If You are a parent or guardian and You
are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us. If We become aware
that We have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of
parental consent, We take steps to remove that information from Our servers.
If We need to rely on consent as a legal basis for processing Your information and Your country
requires consent from a parent, We may require Your parent's consent before We collect and use that
information.

Our Service may contain links to other websites that are not operated by Us, including Amazon Alexa services. If You click on a third
party link, You will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise You to review the

of any third party sites or services.

We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify You of any changes by posting the
new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
We will let You know via email and/or a prominent notice on Our Service, prior to the change
becoming effective.
